There are plenty of SmartFares reviews that claim they were scammed, while plenty of other people have had no issues with the company and received excellent deals. Legit with scam tactics. 1- Bait and switch: false initial fare then they hike it either before or after you pay.
I have disputed the $111 charge, and received an email from smartfares saying I owe it.
